This infographic presents data from our young person sample of Australians aged 16-24.
Abstract
This infographic shows the strong association between child maltreatment and mental disorders in Australian young people. Experience of child maltreatment dramatically increases the chances a young person will develop a mental disorder indicating the impact of maltreatment on mental health develops early in life.
