In this “Learn me right” podcast Prof Ben Mathews speaks with Sinead Prince and Ruthie Jeanneret about his work in the field of child sexual abuse and the Australian Child Maltreatment Study.

He discussed the importance about gathering national prevalence data to inform policy and practice. He situates the ACMS within the broader research he has been doing about how legal and social systems can do a better job at preventing, identifying and responding to maltreatment, in particular child sexual abuse. He also shares some of his successes at law reform in this area.
