Our funders

The ACMS was funded by an NHMRC Project Grant of $2.3 million over five years (2019-2023) (APP1158750). The official title of the project was “The first national study of child maltreatment in Australia: Prevalence, health outcomes, and burden of disease.”

Separate funding for additional components of the ACMS was provided by the Australian Government, and the Australian Institute of Criminology (see Our Partners). Queensland University of Technology, which was the administering organisation for the ACMS, also provided funding and support for the ACMS.

The primary funding agency for the ACMS was the National Health and Medical Research Council.
