Child maltreatment and criminal justice system involvement in Australia: Findings from a national survey
This article outlines the associations between experiences of child maltreatment and later involvement in the criminal justice system. Results show moderate associations between child maltreatment and arrests and convictions, and between maltreatment and imprisonment among men. Implications are discussion.
